A new look at an old saying
At the most recent luncheon for a professional association I attended the keynote speaker was Dave Horsager. I have long been of the belief that when you attend a meeting you should pick one particular idea or concept and concentrate on that. Dave is a gifted speaker and a talented illusionist. More important was the content of his presentation.
Here is the one concept I brought back with me. Complete the saying "The grass is always greener"…
Was your answer the same as mine? I bet it was. My mind automatically filled in "on the other side of the fence." Dave's answer was "where it is tended and cared for." Isn't that the same with money too?
Have you ever wondered why a friend or colleague seems to have financial resources available when you don't? There are two possible reasons. Either they are spending resources they do not have (ie, they are going in to debt) or they have better tended to and cared for their finances.
Green grass tomorrow is the result of watering the lawn today.
