The CFP® Board of Standards released a 12 minute video today about the ethical standards required of Certified Financial Planner™ practitioners. It also covers a CFP® designee's fiduciary responsibility and explains the CFP® Board of Standard's disciplinary procedures used to enforce their standards.
I will grant you that this is not the most exciting video you will probably see this year, but I think it goes a long way to explain why a Certified Financial Planner™ professional is diligent in representing the best interests of their clients.
